Animal Farm Book and Movie :: Compare Contrast Animal Farm Essays

fauna Farm Book and MovieAnimal Farm is a smart about farm animals running a farm and becoming ego sufficient. It is a story with great detail and is a very tidy apply to readbecause of it surprising events. If you have seen Animal Farm the word-painting, youwould ascertain completely different. The impression has far less detail and events tomake it as interesting as the book.Though the story is basically the same, the lack of flesh out makes the moviedull. One thing that can make a book good is characters. In the book, on that pointwere umteen more animals in the farm. The movie did not show many animals exceptfor the main animals. Even impression this is a small difference, it can benoticeable. In the book, Mollie was a character. When she betrayed the animalsby being with a human it gave you a feeling that there were more animals thatcould be traitors. In the movie since there was no Mollie, you did not evenhave a feeling of suspense for what was going to return later on.In the book, there was many surprises that shocked me. One of thosesurprises was that short sleep wanted Snowball ousted. Though Napoleon did not likeSnowball, the wasnt actually any evidence that he would try to kill Snowball. Inthe movie, Napoleon, had a bad image already. He had a mean look and shoved his federal agency in front when Old Major gave his speech. There was also murky music whenthey had scenes of him. When the book showed of Napoleon as a bad guy, I wassurprised but I expected it in the movie because the movie showed him as a badperson from the beginning.Another detail that the movie missed was when all the animals could talk.In the movie not all the animals could talk. This eliminated many importantthings. Beasts of England was hummed when the animals sang it. When they couldtalk, the words represented the hate they felt for the gentlemans gentleman and the in excepticethey felt was done to them. This is important because this greatly motivated theanimals to rebel. If they just hum the tune and call it Beasts of England, ittakes away from the mood of the story. Another intellectual speech is so important isthat in the book, animals sometimes questioned authority. Boxer had formerlyquestions Squealers actions. It also made it so the regular animals besides thepigs could not exceed to each other and trying to guess their feelings wasnot the easy. The movie had a few more differences.
